Important Parking Information

Commuter and Residents Students, this year we are offering you the opportunity to register your vehicle BEFORE you leave for the summer!

Just print out the attached form, fill it in completely, sign it and drop it in campus mail to Student Development or in the ticket payment box outside the Campus Police office (Student Center 148). We will then process your registration over the next several weeks and have a new 2009-2010 parking permit waiting for you in your campus post office box, along with a map of parking lots and approved parking areas, when you return to campus in the fall. Commuters, if you do not have a campus post office box, we will mail your permit/map to the mailing address you provide on your registration card.

Please be advised that the issuance of your new permit will be delayed if you have outstanding parking tickets or any part of your registration card is not completed properly or is not signed. If you have questions regarding outstanding tickets, you should contact Student Development during regular business hours or email parking@indwes.edu with your inquiries.

You will need to include your old (2008-2009) permit or payment when turning in your registration form. If you do not have your current permit, you will need to pay a $20 replacement fee to secure a new one. If your permit was lost in a car accident, please provide a copy of the crash report or insurance claim and the $20 replacement fee will be waived. If you are paying by check, please make checks payable to IWU; if you are paying by debit/credit card, please stop up to Student Development with your completed form and we can take your information to charge your credit/debit card.

The Parking Rules and Regulations should be printed and kept in your vehicle for reference when driving and parking on IWU property.

No electronic registrations will be accepted. If you are unable to print the Vehicle Registration Form and Parking Rules & Regulations, copies will be available for you to pick up in Student Development (Student Center 260).
