La Amistad Hispanica

Purpose

The objective of La Amistad Hispanica is to stimulate a desire to learn the Spanish language and culture by enhancing the classroom experience through extra-curricular activities, sponsor activities and social events related to the Spanish language and culture, represent the Spanish department with purpose of expanding and developing the program, and to provide service to IWU and the Hispanic community in Marion. Membership is open to any Spanish major/minor, anyone that has completed a Spanish course at the university level, or anyone that is deemed fluent in Spanish by a Spanish instructor at IWU.

Membership Requirements

Membership is open to Spanish majors/minors, any student who completed or is currently enrolled in a Spanish course at the university level, or any student deemed fluent in Spanish by a Spanish instructor at IWU.
