Sigma Delta Pi

Purpose

Sigma Delta Pi is the national collegiate Hispanic honor society designed to promote knowledge of and proficiency in the Spanish language and culture.

Membership Requirements

Active membership is limited to those who are currently enrolled CAS students who meet these requirements:

• Three years of college Spanish including three credit hrs. of third year course of Hispanic literature/culture
• grades in Spanish average a GPA of 3.0 or higher
• Rank must be in the 35% of class (sophomore, junior, senior)
• Completed three semesters of college work
• Genuinely interested in things Hispanic and of good moral character
• Membership dues
