Q:What are some other opportunities to connect with other prospective students? A:Prospective students come to our multiple visit days throughout the year. Close to 300 students come to our Admitted Student Weekend in early Spring. Q:Does Indiana Wesleyan utilize any other forms of social media? A:Yes! Check us out on Twitter at: www.twitter.com/indwes Follow us on Instagram: http://instagram.com/indwes We even have a Pinterest account:http://www.pinterest.com/indwes/
Your deposit is what secures your spot on campus and allows you to register for classes. Do you have your eye on a particular residence hall? Housing priority is based on when a student submits their deposit, so get it in early! Submit your deposit here: http://www.indwes.edu/Deposit/
Q:Is the deposit refundable? A: The deposit is refundable until May 1st, 2014. Simply call the admissions office at 765-677-2138 in order to have your deposit refunded. Q:What happens to my $200? A: Your deposit will automatically be applied to your first semester’s bill. It will be reflected alongside your scholarships and grants applied toward the cost of tuition and room & board. Q:Do I have to deposit online? A: You can submit your deposit over the phone using a debit or credit card (Visa, Mastercard, or Discover) by calling admissions at 765-677-2138 . You can also complete the tuition deposit slip that was included with your acceptance letter.
As a freshman, or transfer student, you have multiple options for housing. You could choose to live in an all freshman community or live among sophomores, juniors, and seniors. It’s your choice! The hardest part is choosing. We’ve tried to make it as easy as possible with this website: http://www.indwes.edu/Life-at-IWU/Residence-Life/Residence-Halls/ Explore your options and then fill out your housing application here: https://housing.indwes.edu
Q:How is housing priority determined? A: Your housing priority number is set the date on which your deposit is submitted. Your chances of being placed in your #1 choice for residence hall is much higher if you submit your deposit early. Q:What are some of the residence hall traditions and activities? A: Check out each residence hall’s page to read about some of the traditions found within each hall. For example, here is Bowman House: http://www.indwes.edu/Residence-Life/Bowman-House/
We recognize that the cost of higher education is an important factor while making your college decision. We have provided a way to receive an early estimate of your financial aid package. Keep in mind, this is only an estimate. Your financial aid package could be larger or smaller depending on the final calculations. Check out the estimator here: https://secure2.indwes.edu/Financial-Aid/Estimator/CAS/
Q:Is there any additional financial aid available? A: We do our absolute best to try and make Indiana Wesleyan University affordable to almost everyone. However, the institution has a limited amount of funds in order to make this a possibility. That is why we encourage students to apply for additional scholarships through national and local resources to help supplement the institutional financial aid. Q:Who do I call if I have any questions about my financial aid package? A: Every student has been assigned to their very own financial aid counselor. Feel free to call the financial aid office at 765-677-2116.
