Duties and Responsibilities:
- Phoning a specified group of students (and parents) determining degree of interest in Indiana Wesleyan University's Summer Honors, and Honors College Programs. Encourage the students to make a campus visit on a pre-arranged day. Build a positive "first-impression" of the University. Maintain relationships with top prospects.
- Provide students with quality academic information of departments, faculty and programs, as well as, campus life related questions related to recruitment.
- Communicate with Coordinator of Summer Honors Program and other Admissions professionals as it relates to student needs, via computer database system (we'll train you).
- · Available for other duties as relate to recruitment and retention of Summer Honors and Honors College students, such as tours, hosting and lunch visits.
Qualifications:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Enthusiasm and dependability.
- Ability to organize, stay on task with little supervision.
- Previous Summer Honors and current Honor's College students given priority.
- Must possess at least a 3.0 cumulative GPA.
Length of Employment:
January 24th - semester's end (no spring break or exam week)
